It is with affection we often refer to The Venues Collection as TVC. To recognise the integrity & passion of our teams we’ve interviewed several of them so you, our lovely customers, can understand who the people behind the masks are and what makes them proud to be #IAMTVC.

Phil Littlefair, Finance Director.
What do you do at The Venues Collection?
I work across the Venues Collection as part of the senior executive team who manage all aspects of The Venues Collection financial health and long-term growth. I establish and maintain the company’s financial strategy and oversee the finance and accounting operations.
How long have you worked here?
What is the best thing about working for The Venues Collection?
The senior executive team is relatively small, compared to other venue businesses. This means I can get involved with lots of different areas of the business, which in other larger businesses I might not have the opportunity to do. Our size is one of the best things about TVC as it gives us the flexibility to easily adapt, meet and exceed customer’s needs.
What is your favourite event type?
It has to be big brand conferences, with large volumes of people being welcomed through our doors over multiple days. There is a real buzz in the venues when a brand takes over the space, it’s great to see people networking, learning and meeting face to face. While we may not be able to do this at the moment due to COVID-19 restrictions I don’t think you can beat these face to face conferences, and I welcome their safe return.
The 2021 and 2022 The Venues Collection calendar for hosting big brand conferences is looking busy with customers holding event space, so if you are thinking of holding an event during the next couple of years, I would urge you to place an enquiry now, while the availability is still there.
How do you feel about the COVID secure changes now in place at the venues?
It’s great to see everyone from the senior executive team to teams in the venues embrace the changes that COVID has brought, we have redefined our business and are rebuilding it into one that excels at the ‘new normal’.
If customers are worried about visiting a Venues Collection Venue, due to COVID-19, what would you say to reassure them?
Every one of us needs to follow the guidelines and use their common-sense, each taking ownership to limit infection rates.
That said, our teams are going above and beyond to make sure every single guest and colleague is kept as safe as possible through our COVID Secure charter and policies.
