How do you keep up with industry trends?

We work in a fast paced and dynamic industry and keeping ahead of the curve is crucial. We know that you need to keep up with the latest trends, ideas and venue openings whilst keeping everyone you work with happy and healthy. There’s a wealth of industry resources out there to help you do this so we’ve selected a few of our favourites to share with you:

Hire Space

Hire Space is a great venue booking platform, but did you know that they also offer regular industry updates and insight for event professionals through their blog, at https://hirespace.com/blog, and on the resources section of their homepage?

Hire Space also organises regular free events for event professionals through its EventLAB brand, invitations for which you can find on its social media channels @hirespace and @eventlab_online.

Delegate Wranglers

The Delegate Wranglers is the daily go-to check in to positively connect, inspire, educate and provide opportunities for the global events community. Launched in 2014 the community has grown from strength to strength throughout the UK, Europe and overseas. The community was made official community partners with Facebook since 2020 and also selected to be on their Community Accelerator Programme in August 2021.

DW is widely known and respected, offering event professionals the opportunity to connect, gain business, seek opportunities, find jobs, meet up for networking events and ultimately help them to develop their businesses and increase their business network.

It is a community which thrives on positivity – thus becoming the pulse of the industry, bringing together buyers and suppliers in a real time community which has never been available before. It is the largest of its kind in the UK and has achieved what no other organisation has managed to: creating a unique community of event professionals – buyers and suppliers – who collaborate and drive millions of pounds of business for the industry every month.
