Here are some helpful frequently asked questions and answers about bookings and visiting our venue. For more information, please refer to our COVID Secure charter or contact your event specialist.
Will there be social distancing in place at your venue?
In line with Government guidance, the social distancing rule no longer applies, meaning there are no restrictions on numbers, except the physical capacity of the room, of people attending your event or wedding.
Will you still have Covid secure measures in your venue?
For the ongoing safety and comfort of everyone we will continue to operate:
- Increased frequency of cleaning activities.
- Hygiene stations places around the venue are available for everyone to use.
- Cashless payments, we encourage contactless debit/credit card payment wherever possible.
- As you would expect, meeting rooms and bedrooms will be thoroughly cleaned before your arrival
Will I have to wear a face covering?
It’s up to you. There is no legal obligation to wear a face covering, although the Government guidance advises you to wear a face covering where you come into contact with people you don’t normally meet in enclosed places.
Will your staff be wearing PPE?
In line with Government guidance, the wearing of face coverings or other PPE, relating to Covid-19, is no longer required. However, we recommend our team continues to wear appropriate PPE when working in close contact with other employees or guests.
Will your staff be tested for Coronavirus?
Until further notice, for everyone’s safety, all of our team members will complete lateral flow tests, each week, when working in our venues.
Do I have to present a Covid certificate to enter your venue?
There will be no Covid certificate required as a condition of entry to our venue or event in our venue.
Do I have to check-in with the NHS Track & Trace app?
In line with Government guidance, there is now no requirement to check-in to the venue with the NHS Track & Trace app. However, we would recommend you still do so.
What if Government Covid restrictions return & I need to cancel my event?
We understand everyone’s event and cancellation circumstance is different so please get in touch with us to discuss further.
If the venue has to close temporarily due to Coronavirus, will I get a full refund?
Yes of course, but we ask you to get in touch with us to arrange this for you.
If I have checked into the hotel and it turns out another guest is ill with Coronavirus, what will the venue do?
If a guest is displaying signs of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) virus while staying with us they should inform us immediately and seek advice from the NHS. Any room the positive guest has stayed in will be sealed for 72 hours before starting our rigorous cleaning procedures.
Will all your leisure facilities be open, and do I need to book a time slot?
All our leisure facilities are open, subject to maintenance. Please contact us for opening times and details of facilities available during your visit.
