Carbon Footprint Labelling

The Venues Collection is on a mission to raise awareness of how our eating habits affect the climate and empower everyone to make more informed food choices. By putting the power in the hands of you and our chefs, we aim to make it easy for everyone to do something good for the climate.

Some Food For Thought On Our Eating Habits

The food industry accounts for more than one-quarter of all global emissions. 28% to be exact, which means that our current eating habits have a bigger impact on the climate than all global transport combined. This calls for a sustainable transformation of the food industry and our diets and the solution needs to be simple to encourage industry actors and consumers alike to take action to reduce their climate impact.

How Much CO2 Do You Put on Your Plate?

We use certified climate data to display the carbon footprint of our dishes, and their easy-to-use calculator helps our chefs to make climate-friendly changes to the menu.

Many of the ingredients used to cook the food served in our venue are assigned a carbon footprint based on their emissions to the atmosphere. The carbon footprint is based on the type of ingredient, production method and country of origin.
